Custom Water Jet Cutting
In addition to all of our other capabilities, we offer custom 2 dimensional cutting on our Omax waterjet. With waterjet technology, we can take your CAD drawing or DXF and convert it to cut exactly what you draw... to a tolerance as tight as .002-.003.
Our water jet uses a combination of high water pressure and an abrasive material called garnet. Forced together through a nozzle, they cut through just about any material up to 3 1/2" thick. The waterjet head travel is controlled by a program in the machine's PC, and follows the path set by the imported DXF, creating the part that you need.
